I'm switching to 2.4Ghz radio so i don't have any freq' issues when i get to the pond to run. I use marine grade stuffing tube grease all the time. Stock servo's work fine in mine, I'm not sure why you'd upgrade if you're not having trouble.Īs for radio, I have FM with mine but I'd have gone with the 2.4 ghz because of the short antenna. I believe the output shaft is tapered not threaded.
Not sure why you want to change rudders as mine work fine, however if I were going to change I'd get rudders with water pickup so that I could eliminate the extra drag. Spend the money on the right grease instead.
Auto bailers work but can get plugged with debris and have the reverse effect. When I do get water it can be drained by the drain holes after running. You need to fill this with grease before each run and it must be the right type of grease. I've found that most of the water I'm getting into the boat is from the stuffing tube coming in along the flexshaft that drives the propeller. Using anything other then a proper puller is not advised. Link is to a multi purpose tool for the Zenoah motor.
